The Changeling
Dark Sour Ale
Dark Sour
June 2018
Changeling Dark Sour Ale returns on draft (NEW!) and in 750ml bottles beginning in the Greater Kansas City Area on July 9th.
Changeling Dark Sour Ale is an enchanting blend of sour ales aged in wine barrels, whiskey barrels and neutral oak barrels and stainless tanks that were inoculated with brettanomyces and lactobacillus. The beer pours a deep ruby color with touches of gold at the edges of the glass. Leading with plum and toasty malt, the flavor transmutes into a soft tartness, with notes of earthiness and funk provided by brettanomyces and a touch of lingering caramel to create a delicate balance.
