Boulevard Brewing Co. + Oxbow Brewing Co. Happy Hour
With so many great friends and great brewers in town for Boulevardia we decided to invite one of our favorites to help us throw a beer shindig at the Tours & Rec Center. Join Boulevard brewer Ryan McNeive and Oxbow’s Jack Van Paepeghem as you are guided through a flight of six total beers, three from each brewery.
Ryan heads the team of brewers responsible for our barrel program. His creativity and knowledge have helped expand our barrel-aged offerings, both in quantity and ingenuity. He has hand-selected three of his favorite beers from our portfolio and invited his good friend Jack and fellow Seibel Institute alum to do the same from the Oxbow portfolio.
Oxbow is a small farmhouse brewery located in rural Newcastle, Maine, known for crafting amazingly complex beers. Oxbow beers rarely make it very far outside the state of Maine and you will have the chance to try three beers not available at Taps and Tastes. Jack Van Paepeghem is an Advanced Cicerone with a degree in International Brewing Technology who is a passionate beer lover and educator.
Don’t miss this opportunity to try some amazing beers and gain insight into the minds of two brilliant beer minds!
Boulevard: Saison Brett 2018
Oxbow: Crossfade 2016 – stainless-aged farmhouse ale aged with Brettanomyces
Boulevard: Smooth Fuzz – barrel-aged Belgian ale with apricots

Ryan and the guys in the barrel program are always working on new test beers as well. He will be pulling a couple of bottles of past and present test beers for attendees to try in addition to the beers on the flight.
